Acharon (Acky) is a truly Versatile stallion. He is a very kind and honest horse and competes successfully across several disciplines. Acharon has many Championships to his name in both Halter and Ridden Arabian classes. He has also performed exceptionally well in Open led and Ridden Galloway and Show Hunter classes. He tends towards a true hunter type rather than an overly Arabian type. He has been awarded the title of Ultimate Arabian- which really says it all.
Acharon has been campaigned strongly in Endurance riding and that has been his main focus. He will often compete in a major ‘A’ class Arabian show and take off champion sashes weeks after completing and winning a 160km endurance ride.
Acky has been awarded Champion in the Working section of the Arabian Roll of Merit foir his outstanding success in Endurance riding. He has recently been awarded a second Champion for his success in the Performance horse arena (eg, Arabian and Open ridden - Galloway and Show Hunter hacking classes) . He has also achieved his Champion in Halter. From these 3 Champion awards, he has now gained the title of Supreme on the Arabian Roll of Merit.
Acharon adapts himself easily to whatever is asked of him. Acky has a low resting heart rate and amazing heart rate recoveries. He has been awarded Best Conditioned Horse of the Year on 3 occasions and has amassed over 3 600km. He has been awarded WA Heavyweight Horse of the year several times. He also won the Heavyweight division of the 2007 Tom Quilty 160km ride. In his endurance career to date, he has entered 42 rides and completed 38 of them , and awarded Best Conditioned horse in over 80% of those rides. His Log Book would have to be one of the most impressive in Australia.
In 2008 he completed a 160km FEI*** in under 10 hours as part of the process for Australian team selection for International Competition.
In 2009, he furthered his credentials by winning two more World Equestrian Games qualifiers. He won both the CEI ** (120km) and the CEI *** (160km) rides well within the qualifying times. On both occasions he was awarded Best Conditioned Open Horse the following day. He easily satisfied the criteria for both the FEI and Australian Endurance Squad for the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA, and was selected to represent Australia at WEG 2010.

Acharon is a laid back stallion with a very even temperament. He is a joy to handle and is very kind to his mares. He is extremely successful as a sire and has a conception rate of over 93%.
Acky is the last foal born by the terrific Endurance sire, Aquanitor. The name ‘Acharon’ means ‘last of the line’ or ‘ultimate’. However, Acharon is now an important horse in his own right.
Acharon is producing very nice foals from a variety of mares- Arabians and derivatives, Galloway, pony and performance types. He stamps a nice frame on his foals and they all appear to inherit a very easy going temperament.

Acharon is certified SCID free.
Acharon is available for natural service and AI within WA. Eastern States mares have been tested PTIF via his chilled semen.

Stud Fee is $990 (incl GST) + $250 handling + Agistment costs. Current for the 2012/2013 season. Chilled semen and AI also available.
